NZ Sportscar Racing
NZ Sports Car Racing is an enthusiastic and friendly group of Sports Car racers and supporters which have formed their own club, NZ Sports Car Racing Inc.
The key aim of our club is to foster Sports Car Racing Nationwide, through the construction and racing of home or factory built Sports Cars and Sports Racing Cars.
We have classes to suit all levels of car and driver, from our very popular entry level Club Sport Class with cars, like Redline, Beattie, Fraser, Chevron and Lotus right through to our super fast factory built Sports Prototypes such as Juno and Radical. And of course let’s not forget our own locally manufactured cars such as Saker, JRM 3, and Alders GCR01. Our best cars are capable off setting some of the fastest lap times in New Zealand.
To keep our grids really interesting during the IRC events our class combines with the cool Aussie V8 lookalike, motorbike engine powered ‘Star Cars’ and we feel this mixed grid offers great variety for spectators and drivers alike, with fantastic close racing.
Please see the NZ Sportscar Racing and Star Cars websites for more information on the series’, and to get involved.
